Sacred Power Relocates Solar Energy Systems Manufacturing Plant

June 6, 2006

ALBUQUERQUE, NM - After manufacturing solar systems in the same plant for over three years in northwest Albuquerque, Sacred Power Corporation, a manufacturer of solar energy systems has relocated to 815 Bellamah NW, in the the heart of downtown Albuquerque.

"The high price of gasoline has put alternative energy into high gear and demand is at an all time high," said Dave Melton, co-principal of Sacred Power. "Governor Bill Richardson's signing of the Solar Tax Credit Bill earlier this year gives New Mexico's citizens more reason to look to solar as a viable source of energy," added Odes Armijo-Caster, co-principal of Sacred Power.

Sacred Power's relocation will improve manufacturing efficiency and will provide greater access off I-40. Furthermore, this move provides Sacred Power, a small Native American owned business an opportunity to become property owners versus a tenant which has obvious benefits.

Sacred Power operated out of two locations; Corporate headquarters (located within the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center) at 2401 12th St. NW, Suite 204-205, Albuquerque, NM 87104; the other is their new manufacturing facility at 815 Bellamah NW, Albuquerque, NM 87102 which resides in a HUB Zone.
