To use "the Strengths of the Father" to protect "the Gifts of the Mother" would best summarize Sacred Power Corporation's basic intent and philosophy. It is our belief that the world in which we live can change it's current direction and dependence on polluting energy sources and convert to renewable technologies that provides clean long term solutions to today's energy problems.
Sacred Power (SP) Corporation is experienced in all facets of renewable energy. The following list highlights a selected list of projects SP has successfully completed:
Telecommunication
Mescalero NM- The existing telecommunication site was plagued with a multitude of problems, primarily with solar equipment that was improperly installed and maintained. As a result critical loads such as repeaters for law enforcement personnel were frequently down resulting in a public safety hazard. The SP-1200 Solar System, for reliable electricity, along with an SP TEL-Cool (a passively heated and cooled telecommunications shelter) to house sensitive telecommunication equipment was installed to solve the tribes's communication problem.
Power Generation
Albuquerque, NM -The largest Grid connected Solar Array's on tribal and federal land supplies the facility with clean, free, non polluting solar energy off setting the tribal building's reliance on locally supplied electricity. The Solar Array known nationwide as the SP SOL-Park™not only provides electricity it also doubles as a shade for cars parked there during the daytime. The SP SOL-Park™Solar Carport is comprised of 2.5kw, 2 car space building blocks that could be utilized individually for residential power or added upon to create 375kw of power and 3000 commercial shaded parking spaces.
Home Electrification
Santa Ana Pueblo, NM-With our specially designed SP-1200Solar Electric Hybrid Mobile Power Unit, a family living in a remote area on tribal land is enjoying what the majority of the people in the United States take for granted, electricity, and with electricity comes refrigeration, television, microwave for cooking and a host of labor saving appliances.
Village Electrification
Laguna Pueblo, NM-The project located on a remote tribally owned ranch consists of large 4.8kw array for water pumping. Other unique aspects of the project include solar hot water heating on the main facility and Sat-Com communications.
Community Water
Santa Ana Pueblo, NM -The pueblo has been reliant on solar energy to provide there domestic water needs for the past 15 years; the systems have required very little maintenance comparative to other forms of water pumping.
Water Heating
Chickasaw, OK- Large Solar hydronic systems were installed on restrooms and shower facilities located in the federal parks in the Chickasaw Nations. These systems save hundreds of dollars each year in fuel savings providing solar hot water to thousands of visitors to the parks each year.
Livestock Watering
Montono Cattle Association, Rio Puerco, NM-The tribally owned cattle association were tired of utilizing gasoline powered generators to pump water for the cattle. The Willmills worked generators to pump water for there cattle. The Windmills worked well in the winter and fall but in the heat of the summer (the most critical time of all) failed to produce water. An unused nearby well was identified and SPC installed a solar water pumping system. The Site maintains reliable water year round now, especially in the summer when it is most needed. Dozens of similar sites have been installed by SP.
Training & Education
It is the belief of the SP that in order for renewable energy systems to be effective, personnel must be trained in use, operation, and maintenance of those systems. The staff at SP has conducted dozens of training seminars and workshops on solar energy systems world wide. |
